一年一次的普利兹克奖(Pritzker Architecture Prize), 建筑设计界的奥斯卡, 建筑学界的诺贝尔, 设计师至高无上的荣耀. 英国建筑设计师理查德·罗杰斯(Richard Rogers)获得了这份2007年的礼物.

现年73岁的理查德·罗杰斯在建筑界早期属于一个颇具争议的人物, 其主导的现代建筑风格在早期的一些项目中也颇受诽议. 其早期位于法国的Centre Georges Pompidou更被当时的业界形容为”疯狂”.

在宣布罗杰斯获得普利兹克奖后, 有基金发表称:” 罗杰斯是一个新城市的指标, 他是一个城市变迁的催化剂.”
